Description:
Here we have a beautiful art of American rifle history,
The Savage Model 99 or as is affectionately called "the Old 99"
This model is a "Pre-War" model made by the Savage Arms Company of Utica New York in 1941; and part of their famous "hammerless " lever action rifle family.
Chambered in .300 savage this was a rifle popular with both big and small game hunters.

Featuring it's astonishing rotary feeding system that still has engineers in awe today!

Overall very good and solid condition and quality for its age, with very strong action and wood stocks.
Wood does shows some use typical of its age
and metal shows some gray patina and flecking.

An amazing piece for hunters and collectors
