Savage 99F (Featherweight) 243. Made in 1957 which was the lst year of production in this cal for this model (lst introduced in 1955 i other cals) and sought after by collecotrs because of the reltive scarcity if this cal and additionally with its light weight it mates very well to mild recoiling but capable 243..
Overal condition is exceptioanal. It does have a professionally done repair behind the upper tang. NO RUST OR MEANINGFUL HANLDING MARKS ...ONLY LIGHT CARRY WEAR UNDERSIDE OF THE RECEIVER.
Comes with a period correct Weaver k4 with a fine ch and target dot
This beauty has all the features: lever safety, brass cartridge counter, brass rotor and cocking indicator.
Checkering is sharp and shows almost no wear.
Although it has recoil pad the stock still measures 13" to the end of the wood which is correct for a 1957 99F
