Chambered in British .577snider, with the "Snider" cartridge conversion, was the most widely used of the Snider varieties. The MK II, saw action everywhere the British had a presence, in the 19th century. Adopted as the primary service rifle of the British Army in 1866. Overall condition is good with strong action and a good bore condition with nice rifling. Also included is a period bore plug. The Stock shows wear and use, but remains solid throughout.
