Irish made boxlock ejector 20-gauge game gun with 26" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked Cylinder & Modified. The rib is roll marked: "JOSEPH BRADDELL AND SON. MAYFAIR. AUTHUR SQUARE. BELFAST." The case color hardened finished action body with blacked cover plate is adorned with fine English Arabesque scrolls, and "BRADELL" in banners engraved on both sides of the action body, The scalloped-back boxlock action is fitted with a blacked engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered and automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the scored and lightly engraved safety slide. The double triggers are protected by a blacked and engraved trigger guard ending in a long and engraved bottom strap with serial number. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, drop points, English flat-top checkering, vacant stock oval, 1-1/4" wooden extension and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release with an engraved escutcheon and center diamond. 15-3/8" LOP to a scored butt, 5 Lbs. - 10 Oz. Gun resides in an associated single canvas trunk case.
