Description:
The barrel is also an extra heavy barrel. Factory records list only 42 of the 32 inch barreled 1881's made. Of those 42, only 3 had extra heavy barrels. Nice bore. Wood is very good plus condition with most original varnish and nice grain. Shotgun style buttplate. Sights include a blade front sight, long buckhorn Marlin rear sight and a factory tang sight. Overall metal is nice with about 50% barrel and mag blue with the receiver at about 75% original blue with light toning. Mechanics are excellent. Comes complete with a factory letter.
