Description:
Serial #W67096, .44WCF (.44-40), 20" octagon barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome rifle that retains virtually all of the original blue on the barrel, magazine tube, forend cap, dust cover, and buttplate. Likewise, the frame, hammer, lever, and trigger retain a commensurate amount of color case-hardened finish with only some hints of silvering along the high edges and bearing surfaces. The checkered walnut forend and pistol-grip buttstock are in excellent, practically unused condition, with no handling marks or blemishes in the original varnish. The rifle is housed in the original shipping boz with papers, and is a very well made, carbine-length rifle in virtually unused condition. FFL;
