Offered for sale is a nice example of the WW2 Colt M1903 .32 ACP pistol. This pistol shipped to Springfield Armory in 1945. A factory letter will accompany the pistol. Original finish. Slide is numbers matching. Magazine is proper crimped base full blue and Colt marked. These pistols were issued to high ranking officers and were used by various branches of the Intelligence services during the war. Post war they were issued to General Officers up until the 1970's. Quite a few of these were also lend leased to England during the WW2 and wear British Proofs. This example is free from any British proofs making it more desirable to USGI collectors.
This pistol has 98% of the finish remaining and presents very well.
