Underwood M1 Carbine "S-Code" comes with one magazine. Underwood barrel dated 10-43. This example is part of Underwood's 2nd block production which included a large quantity of sub-contracted receivers. Receivers were stamped with a letter designating the sub-contractor. This receiver is stamped S which designates it was produced by United Shoe Machine. Approx. assembly period for the 2nd block production is July 1943 - March 1944. This example is still in great shape and would make a nice addition to anyone's collection. .30 Carbine
