Ithaca Model 37R Featherlight -12 Ga. Deluxe Pump Action Shotgun - Deluxe checkered pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate. Hammerless, pump action is an adaptation of John Browning's original design of the model 17 Remington . 28 In. long solid rib barrel with mid white bead and orange front bead sight. External tube magazine with a 4 + 1 capacity for 12 Ga. 2.75 . Barrel is clean and bright. Barrel and engraved receiver are retaining approx. 95% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. The model 37R was manufactured 1937 to 1967. Shotgun has had very little use. This one was manufactured in 1954. The Ithaca Model 37R's are scarce especially in this condition. Collector quality.
