Description:
26 inch round barrel chambered in 22 S,L or LR caliber. Very good shiny bore. Smooth action. Beautiful gun with all case color remaining. Dimmed some on the right side. Restored barrel and mag tube blue is exceptional at about 95%+. Crisp markings. Rare Marlin receiver mounted sight. Marble No. 5 blade front and a blank in the rear dovetail. Wood matches in condition. Hard rubber butt plate. Takedown frame. The 97 Marlin was an excellent lever action 22 and this is a very good example. These were made from 1897-1922.
