Known perhaps more for their excellent rifles, George Gibbs also made a number of very fine shotguns. Everything about this particular Gibbs 28ga is nice. Features 26" barrels, choked Cylinder and tight Improved Cylinder, 2 3/4" chambers, strong and timed ejectors, 14 7/16" LOP, 1 7/16" DAC, 2 3/8" DAH, cast off ever so slighlty, excellent wood and checkering, including a checkered butt, double triggers and weighs 5lbs 3oz. Overall just a really lovely British smallbore in very nice original condition. Excellent bores, beautiful wood, good lines and dimensions and it's ready for your next hunting trip or visit to the range! Ships in a plastic hard case or can be delivered to the Spring Southern SxS shoot in April.
