Serial #44651, .36 Caliber black powder percussion, 7.5 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Colt 1861 Navy revolver manufactured by Colt as part of the Signature Series so called third generation black powder guns. In excellent, unfired condition the barrel, cylinder and grip frame retain virtually all, 99% plus original bright finish. The color case-hardened frame, loading lever and hammer show vibrant colors and the grips rate excellent plus. It comes in the original cardboard box which has some torn paper along the back and top. A beautiful example of these increasingly desirable Colt Black Powder guns in very high condition.
