Description:
Austrian Roth Steyr Military Pistol, WWI standard configuration 1907 Roth Steyr with Waffenfabrik Steyr address on top of barrel and serial number on right side of frame. Proof date stamped on the back of the frame and fitted with serrated wood grips, the right panel having a regimentally marked disc (markings not discernible). Pistol is in good condition retaining 70-80% original blue with muzzle/sharp edge wear and corrosion pitting on the bottom of the barrel, right side of the muzzle, and around the trigger guard. The grips are in very fine condition, fit well and have no splits or significant chips. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling and the action is tight and functions perfectly. One of the more unusual and certainly most complex issue pistols from WWI. CURIO & RELIC
