Offered here for sale is a newly acquired fine collectible Hi Standard target pistol. With many collections coming in we have little time to fully clean these fine collectibles but we will do so before shipping and we will guaranty condition for all buyers. The Hi-Standard Victor was a high-quality target pistol designed for precision shooting. Manufactured by High Standard Firearms of Connecticut, it was a popular choice among competitive shooters, especially in bullseye shooting and Olympic-style competitions.
This specimen in the Victor series is .22 Long Rifle and has a 5.5” heavy, ribbed barrel for improved accuracy. Adjustable rear target sight and a replaceable front sight, often mounted on a ventilated rib. Crisp and adjustable trigger pull, enhancing precision shooting. Ergonomic walnut grips designed for a steady hold. Semi-automatic, with a blowback mechanism.
The specimen retains virtually all of its finish and has only seen light use. As noted there is some minor dries oil in concealed places. The Hi-Standard Victor is known for its exceptional accuracy and reliability, making it a favorite among serious competitors and collectors. It was widely used in NRA Bullseye Pistol matches and was considered one of the finest .22 target pistols of its time.
