Description:
One of a pair of guns consigned to us from a local client who had these custom built in the early 2000's by well known gunsmith and gun builder, Neil Hermsen. This gun is a full sidelock ejector 20ga and 28ga two barrel set. Gun built with 2 splinter forends, Casehardened sidelock receiver is very nicely engraved in near full coverage scroll and game scenes all accomplished by Neil. The gun was built with straight grip buttstock, double triggers, auto ejectors, and auto safety. Straight grip buttstock is a very nice and sound piece of straight grained walnut which terminates with a thin recoil pad. The entire ensemble is housed in a custom built full leather case by Marvin Huey with accessories.
The gun has been shot but remains in near mint overall condition. Nearly all finishes remain with a handling mark or two scattered about. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. Case is excellent.
This gun was commissioned at a cost of $27,000 plus the cost of the case, which at last opportunity to buy was $3500. It is being offered today at $11,950 plus shipping to your FFL. The gun represents a very good value for the quality found herein!
