Smooth one piece walnut pistol grip style stock with sling swivels and butt plate . Power piston floating chamber semi - auto action. 24 In . long barrel with adj. rear open sight and a front bead sight. Tubular magazine will accept 20 Short, 17 Long and 15 LR ammo. Receiver factory drilled for scope mount. Includes a Weaver model C6 scope and mount . Scope is in very good condition with clear lens. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 95% bluing. Stock , forend and butt plate are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes ane soft sleeve. Overall condition is exceptional . This rifle has not had much use. Manufactured from 1941 to 1971. This one was manufactured in Jan. 1942. An absolutely beautiful example of the Remington model 550. Collector quality.
