Description:
Serial #NSN, .22 LR, 26 inch heavy barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Model 144 target rifle featuring forearm adjustable sling swivels, receiver mounted Mossberg S-130 peep sights, with the reticle adjustable hooded front sight built from 1949-1954. In excellent condition the barrel and receiver retain virtually all, 97-99% of the original blue showing very light use marks and is drilled and tapped for optics mounts. The stock rates excellent with two added very small holes on the right side of the comb and has QD swivel attachment bracket along with threaded brass holes for hand hold mount. It comes with one original 7 round magazine. The action functions very smoothly. An excellent example of a classic Mossberg target rifle ready for the range. FFL or C&R
