Description:
This is a real piece of American history—the US Arms Co Double Barrel Shotgun is a“Trade Brand Names” firearm, meaning it was made for a distribution company (like a hardware store or mail order) and marked with the distributers chosen name and not the makers.
This particular shotgun takes cartridges, and has twin hammers and triggers. The barrels are 20 inches with an overall measurement of 36 inches and the serial number 43649. On the left side lock it is marked "US Arms Co", on the rib it is marked "Genuine Laminated Steel", and on the barrel "Choke Bored".  The Butt Plate and Grip cap are Hard Rubber, the grip having a diamond design and the butt plate showcasing a hunting dog bringing back a duck or other fowl.  The stock and forearm show the usual wear, but no cracks or repairs.  The checkering on the grip and forearm are still visible.  The mechanics are great.
It is thought to have been made by the Crescent Firearms Co for and distributed by the Supplee-Biddle Hardware Company, right out of Philadelphia, PA. And it really showcases the craftsmanship of Crescent Firearms Co., which has been around since 1888. Crescent was the largest supplier of "Branded" shotguns at the time and it is thought to have manufactured more than 2,000,000 shotguns using over 450 different names.
Just imagine holding a shotgun that truly captures the essence of the Old West era—a dependable and budget-friendly choice for the average American. Crescent Firearms earned a reputation for making solid Firearms aimed at hunters and folks wanting some home protection, all without emptying their wallets.
With this double-barrel shotgun, you’re not just getting a functional tool; you’re snagging a collector’s item that’s rich in history and tradition. So whether you're a passionate collector or simply someone who values fine craftsmanship, this shotgun is definitely something you shouldn't overlook.
No guarantees, warranties, or liabilities for any actual usage. If any firearms are to be used for shooting purposes, a qualified gunsmith should inspect them first.
