*** SALE PENDING *** Here is just an incredible old "Collector grade" Remington 1885/1887 Grade 4 exposed hammer SxS 2 5/8" chamber 12 gauge shotgun (serial # 203854) with gorgeous 30" damascus barrels, choked modified, beautiful high grain walnut stock and forearm and case hardened receiver, remaining in excellent, well taken care, original condition, with shiny bores. This old timer has been used, but never abused, and it shows. The bores measure about .722-.725 and barrel wall thickness, ten inches from the muzzle, measures approximately .045 and in front of the chamber a couple inches it measures approximately .100 thickness. The LOP is at 14" to the front trigger, 13 1/8" to the rear trigger and the DAH is 3". The bores show only the lightest of very sparse shallow pitting. Lock up is tight and there are no dents or dings on the barrels, no cracks or big chips in the wood. You would have to look hard, for quite some time, to find another 1885 as nice as this one. Perfect old Remington for ordering a bunch of RST low pressure shells and head to the field. Comes in good looking hard case to protect your investment in transit to and from the field.
