32554 COLT M45A1 U.S. MARINE CORPS USMC CONTRACT .45 ACP CLOSE COMBAT BATTLE 1911 STYLE PISTOL IN ORIG. BOX CA. 2012. Colt Marine Corps 12,000 gun contract to replace aging 1911A1’s for use by Marine Special Operations Command MARSOC and Force Recon units. Several lots deaccessioned in 2019 and sold in the civilian market. All original as originally issued and excellent this example shows signs of little use and is near new. Slide with crossed out “USMC” as are all as required by the Marines when de-commissioned. Original U.S. Government contract box serial numbered to gun in excellent condition as well. National Match orignial barrel as well. $7,800.
