Winchester Model 1876 .45-60. Made in 1881 and supported by a factory letter, serial 15238 has a 26-inch octagon barrel (.830-inch muzzle diameter, blade front sight, adjustable folding rear sight). Features include a trap door crescent. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 10.0 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.0 inches. CONDITION: The bore is generally brown and rough with softened rifling. Hammer safety notch does not catch. Metal finish has thinned and browned. Wood integrity is good, with small hairline at the lower tang. The price is firm and layaway is available. $5,000 plus shipping.
