Item Details
The Mauser Model 3000 was originally designed by Heym, and was originally released as the Heym SR10 and SR20 rifle. The Model 3000 was designed specifically for export to countries such as the U.S. Mauser-Werke leased the idea with space to manufacture from Heym - thus the Mauser Original roll mark. The serial numbers started with 67110 in 1968, and ended with 95204 in 1974. They sported push feed actions from round bar stock supplied by Krupp steel. The barrels were hand forged for great accuracy. The bolt action is butter smooth.
This gun is in excellent condition. It has a beautiful high-grade walnut stock, outstanding wood figures, deep bluing, and a rating of 98+. This is a superb example of West German rifle making.
