300 Savage Caliber Model 99 Takedown with Two 24-Inch Barrels, Select Wood Pistol Grip & Checkered Stock and Forend; Original Steel Logo Buttplate; SN 3422XX. It comes with more than 100 formed cases + 100 (approximately) New Hornady Brass+ RCBS Dies + Target Handloads and Vintage Winchester Cartridges. Redfield Peep Sight is Factory Original for the period with a Later Marble’s Brass Bead on the Integral Barrel Ramp. This Barrel is Numbered to the Rifle & has the proper “Open” Direction Arrow ahead of the threads. Second Barrel with Lyman 17A Sight (complete set of inserts included) shows some outside pitting that does not affect the interior. Bore and Rifling of Both Barrels is Excellent. The target-sight barrel is timed and headspaced to match the original. An Included Canvas case carries the entire outfit. Mechanical Functions are Tight and Intact, Including the Early Brass Round Counter and the Loaded Chamber Indicator. Receiver is Smooth Patina on the Bottom (from carrying afield) with some preserved blue on the sides. Barrels have Most of their Blue Remaining, with Light to Moderate Wear for Age.
