Description:
This Winchester was produced in 1905. The carbine's serial number is 352880. This Winchester has the standard 20 inch carbine barrel chambered for the 32 W.C.F. cartridge. The bore is bright with fine lands. This carbine has seen very little use or wear. The original bluing would rate a 95% or better condition. The receiver still has that high polish finish intact. The color cased hammer and lever have faded color. The action works very smoothly and locks up tight. The wood stock and forend retain all of the original finish. There is no cracks or damage to the wood. The sights are original to this carbine. This carbine has survived all of these years without being altered or reworked. These early carbines have a poor survival rate in original fine condition! This carbine would be a stunning addition to any quality collection!
