Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight - 16 Ga. Pump Shotgun - Hammerless pump action. Checkered pistol grip stock with finger channel style forend with butt plate. 26 In. long barrel with raised solid rib, MOD choke, and orange fiber optic bead sight. Pheasant and Duck engraved scene on receiver . Bottom feed 4 plus 1 tubular magazine for 2.75 ammo. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in exceptional condition with minimal handling marks . Includes a new soft sleeve. This shotgun has had very little use. The Model 37 Featherlight is an adaptation of the Remington model 17 originally designed by John Browning . Light, beautifully balanced with bottom ejection has made the Model 37 a favorite of hunters for years. Rare hard to find configuration in this condition. The 37R solid rib model was manufactured from 1937 to 1967. This one was manufactured in 1966.
