Synopsis: Early Swiss Bern 1929, Military Pistol, Red Grips/Magazine, 51224, FB00804 Description: Earliest of the Swiss 1929 Bern pistols with the red grips and the red bottom magazine having the blued follower. Everything correct! Standard 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed “U” rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on side plate and bottom of barrel extension. All small parts with usual inspector markings. “P” release marking on right side of the frame. Forward frame recess marked "4.34" (April 1934). W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered red hard rubber grips with original red bottom magazines having blued follower. Condition: Near EXC original salt blue with negligible wear, a light scattering of freckles on front and backstrap. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bore with sharp rifling.
