Description:
12ga with 26 inch barrels, single selective trigger and selective ejectors (which can be deactivated with the turn of an internal screw).
The chokes are:
under barrel fixed at .005;
upper barrel has Carlson thin wall removable chokes with tubes of IC, Modified and Full.
Bores are clear and shiny.
The stock has a hard rubber extension and a Noshoc pad, for a pull of 14 inches (12.75 to the end of wood). Stock dimensions are 2.75 drop at heel and 1.5 at comb.
Original metal finish, 90% blue, the trigger guard shows the greatest loss.
The wood finish and checkering are excellent.
The action is perfectly tight, open or closed.
If you not familiar with the 32 Remington, it was made for only ten years between 1932 and 1942. It was brought out in the height of the depression and sold for about the same cost as a 21 Winchester with SST and ejectors. They made only 500/year for a total of less than 5,000 before the war put an end to production. After the war Remington did not resume building the 32, however following hostilities the German firm Krieghoff bought out the identical gun, with the same model designation and built the gun successfully until 1980 when the similar K80 superseded it.
This particular gun is a proven pheasant killer over a pointing Brittany. I had many good times with it.
