Synopsis: High Original Condition Colt Commando Revolver, US Military Issue, WWII Description: A wonderful example of a Colt Commando .38 special revolver that was military issue in WWII. This example with 4 in. barrel has the usual Colt address on top of the barrel with the “COLT COMMANDO” and caliber on the left side. Ordnance bomb acceptance on top of left frame that cuts through the parkerizing. The revolver is otherwise unmarked excepting for the matching SN on the inner frame and crane. Fitted with usual brown plastic Colt logo grips surmounting a checkered bordered field. Condition: EXC original condition with sharp edge wear at muzzle and edges of cylinder as one would expect from a holstered revolver that has seen relatively little use. Mirror bright bore.
