Serial #56586, .22 S, L, LR, 6 inch part round / part octagon with an excellent bore with strong rifling and a hint of frosting. This is the J. Stevens Diamond No. 43 second issue tip up pistol manufactured from 1896-1916. The barrel and frame show much of a later added blue finish now thinning on the frame and scattered areas of the barrel. It is sighted with the adjustable rear and bead front sights. The lock-up is tight with hammer holding at half and full cock. FFL or C&R
