30" ejector barrels flat hand filed rib with mid and front beads
2 3/4" London heavy nitro proof
Chokes: six total brileys (Cyl,skeet,M,IM,Full,extra full)
Bore measurements: .729/.729 proofed at .729/.729, unaltered from new.

Lockup is tight, bores are bright and clean

Built in 1961 as a pigeon gun, records say Boss bite (third fastener) and Scott lever with baker safety, barrels by Jack Lilly and stocked by Harry Payne. The action was jointed and filed up by IM Crudgington, he also did some of the finishing work.
Scroll back action with scroll and border engraving with much original case color remaining, top quality English boxlock built to the highest standard in the early 1960s.
IM Crudgington was a well known English gunmaker based in Bath England twice the master of the worshipful company of gunmakers, also a well known English gun writer and owner of George Gibbs LTD. His son Mark Crudgington is still a gunmaker in Bath England.
