Description:
23 inch barrel is fit with a shotgun style bead front sight. Bore is excellent, bright with smooth shiny surfaces. Walnut flat bottom grooved forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered aluminum buttplate. Gun appears to have had little use with almost no slide wear to the action. Metal surfaces show near all original finish starting to tone slightly brown with a very faint freckling scattered over much of the surfaces. Wood finish shows only light wear with a few scattered small scratches and some marks at the toe ahead of the buttplate. Rare gun with only approximately 3,000 manufactured from pre-WW2 thru 1952.
