Factory J. M. Debrus Signed, Master Engraved, and Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning Superposed P2 Presentation Grade Skeet. Manufactured in 1977. Blued Special Steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib, standard Browning markings, a single band of floral engraving at the upper breech, chokes marked "**$"/"**$" (skeet/skeet), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin grey boxlock action displays beautiful floral scroll engraving surrounding three gold inlaid game scenes which depict a trio of pheasants in flight on the left, a pair of quail in flight on the underside, and a trio of flying mallards on the right. The engraving extends to the top lever, both tangs, and the trigger guard, which has a blank area for initials. The engraving is signed "J.M.DEBRUS" on the left side of the action below the game scene for Browning Master Engraver Jean Marie Debrus. The gun features a single gold washed trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid "O", "U", and "S". Beautifully figured, exhibition quality, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with ventilated Browning recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .725/.726 inches; choke constriction .005/.005 inches; minimum wall thickness .038/.040 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 1 13/16 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 6 oz.
