This is the Savage Revolving Fire-Arms Co. Navy Model 36 caliber Civil War revolver. Most were made on government Contracts. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is very good with strong bright rifling but does have some corrosion. The serial number under the right grip is 8036.
