Description:
32-1/2 inch round barrel shortened from 36 inches that is chambered in 50-70 caliber. Good bore with strong rifling and scattered roughness throughout. Metal has toned to a gunmetal gray patina. Markings are clear with a 1864 dated lockplate. "US" marked buttplate. Wood has a few dings and mars with a repaired crack on the left side but retains most original finish. Action is crisp and strong. Includes a vintage leather sling and original sights and cleaning rod.
