Description:
Early production gun 4 digit serial number. I was once told something about it was a 1 year of production only ? Perhaps double trigger and long barrels as a odd combintion? In any case, A very nice usable example of a classic 16 ga American double.
Weighs 7 pounds and 3 ounces, and has 13 7/8 LOP. Marked and measures Full and Full. Double triggers, extractors, I believe the beavertail was a replacement although all metal serial numbers match.
Overall wonderful gun, mecahnically excellent. The worst feature in my eyes is the overall fade of the barrels. There are a very gray color relative to the rest of the metal. There is a minor dent in the right barrel that would not stop me from shooting the gun, but would be an easy fix when reblued.
