Description:
5 shot spur trigger revolver with 2-1/4 inch round barrel chambered in 38 RF caliber with a slightly dark bore that shows light to moderate pitting. Frame retains most of the nickel finish with some light flaking while the barrel and cylinder are mostly a brown patina. Rosewood grips are in good condition. Mechanically the action needs a timing adjustment. Early serial number 84. Includes a factory letter that confirms the caliber and shipment to B. Kittredge & Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio on 31 March 1874.
