For your consideration, a Colt Python chambered in .357 Magnum. This piece dates to 1965. Nickel plating for the Python was introduced in 1963, and early nickeled Pythons exhibited nickeled sights. That, in conjunction with the matted topstrap, speaks to the finish being factory, but, without a factory letter, we cannot establish this definitively. .357 Magnum
