Back in the days when Roy Weatherby was changing the world, the 7 x 61 Sharpe and Hart arrived and Denmark's Schultz and Larsen chambered a Model 60 in it. . A fascinating history with very competitve ballisitics, this 7mm is a rifle for the aficionado. Rifle is used, with some handling marks as one would expect from a "shooter" from the mid 20th century. It's a very solid, no frills hunting rifle that's classic from stem to stern. Would be happy in an elk camp at dawn or around a campfire in Botswana, or just living in your safe with other collectible rifles. Includes a sturdy leather sling, an all leather case w a hard muzzle guard and three boxes of factory ammo. You probably want to get a set of dies for handloading-not hard to find. Rifle was owned for last 30 years by a medical doctor who recently died. 24" barrell. Had a gunsmith lubricate the safety-these look like scope-ready Redfield rings. I removed the scope-it was damaged and beyond repair, but no apparent damage to rifle.
