24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 Short caliber with a good shiny bore. Original sporting sights. Barrel and receiver blue is fading to a plum/brown color with traces of blue in the protected areas. Magazine tube is about the same. Deluxe checkered pistol grip walnut stock features a hard rubber grip cap. Grooved forearm. Wood shows some light handling and usage mars. Checkering has been freshened up. Crescent rifle buttplate. Factory letter states the caliber as well as "Plain checkered stock, pistolgrip". Second Model Takedown frame made in 1904.
