Description: FN FAL Australian Lithgow Production L1A1 Rifle, Inch Pattern 7.62mm (.308) caliber, 21-1/2" Barrel Ultra RARE "Pre-Ban" Australian Lithgow made FAL Semi-automatic Manufactured by the Lithgow Small Arms Factory for Limited Export to the United States For Onyx Arms, Montana Less than 200 were ever imported in the late 1980's  Inch-pattern L1A1, FN-FAL rifle Distinctive Australian Coach Wood stock, pistol grip and forearm Proper ABN and Crossed Flags on the Bottom lower front of the Rifle in front of the handguard which Denotes the Proper Lithgow Factory stamps Enfield style buttplate with trap Bolt with 'sand-cuts' and folding cocking handle which are Unique to British and Australian L1A1 FN-FAL rifles Long flash hider with a lug for a knife bayonet Rear sight has a folding aperture and is adjustable for elevation The right side of the frame is stamped: "S.A.F. 850108 AUSTRALIA" The opposite side of the receiver is stamped: "RIFLE, 7.62 mm, L1A1A" in  two lines below the ejection port.
