Description:
On Hold.....This is a super nice engraved revolver. It shipped to Lawrence Bogert Company, Sandusky, Ohio on April 28, 1952. Barrel is 2", finish is blue, with checkered walnut stocks. The Ivory grips and the engraving were added after the revolver left the factory. The blue finish will rate 99%. As you can see in the pictures, the engraving is nice. The carved ivory grips are in excellent condition. There are no cracks or chips. Markings are clear and easy to see. Numbers are correct. Bore in the 2" barrel is excellent. It exhibits very little use. Action is smooth and tight. It works exactly as designed. Notice the case color on the hammer and the trigger. You will like this .38 caliber engraved S&W. It is nice enough to fit nicely in any collection. American Arms & Antiques item #3209. More pictures upon reques.
