Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are very proud to offer this masterpiece of artwork, a highly engraved Colt Single Action Army. The nearly full coverage engraving is highly detailed, very delicate, and finely finished. We have handled a lot of engraved Colts, and some of the big name engravers produced engraving that looks crude and rough when magnified. Not so with this wheel gun. Made in the year of our Lord 1965, she sure doesn't look 59 years old. The blue is rich and deep, the case color is vivid, and the pre-ban ivory grips are nicely grained and gorgeous. A faint turn line is about the only detraction. These engraved single actions are commanding ever increasing prices, some on the market have exceeded 20 grand. To find one from the second generation is the icing on the cake. The second genny guns were the shortest run, with the least variations produced. To find such a decked out revolver from this era is remarkable, indeed. The quaint wooden case sets it apart, too. If you have been seeking the right engraved Colt SAA, but want the added clout of real ivory grips on a second generation gun, then look no further.
