Scarce Volcanic pocket model. Serial #1079, matching, left grip panel also has the carved initials inside the grip "MMG". .31 caliber. Estimated quantity 850 manufactured. Metal is a nice smooth dove-tail grey. The brass frame has a beautiful smooth untouched golden-mellow aged patina. The barrel is clearly stamped, "NEW HAVEN, CONN.(a little light) PATENT FEB. 14, 1854". Bore and mechanics are very good, mechanics are a little stiff, but work fine. Grips are very good with light age handling wear. Original magazine spring present, unbugered screws. Here is your chance to own one of these classic and desirable American firearms, the "Henry" of handguns. These are getting harder and harder to encounter.
