For your consideration is a J.P Sauer & Sohn Mauser Sporter chambered in 8x57J. This rifle features a part octagon part round solid rib barrel with a mostly bright good bore showing some fine pinprick pitting and mild oxidation in the grooves and mostly strong rifling. The metal surfaces of this firearm are in Very good condition showing only light pinpoint spots of oxidation along the receiver and barrel. The stock rates very good showing a bit of older added oil finish along with a few thin flakes and small cracks at the upper tang and a small flake at the lower tang. 8X57
