The 90 Bavarian features a legacy design that pays homage to classic walnut-stocked hunting rifle designs. The stock geometry is designed after hog back style stocks common throughout Central Europe. The hog back stocks were designed to address situations where shooting angles may rapidly change during hunts. The 90 Bavarian also includes fixed sights and is built on Sako‚‚s low profile Optilock receiver to allow for a clear and unobstructed sight picture.
This model is chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum and features a blued finish, 24-inch barrel, and a single-set trigger. The set trigger is optimized for high accuracy, reducing the pull-down weight to less than 10.5 ounces. One 4-round magazine is included.
