Very early model 3 -2 in 44 S&W American sn# 579 manufactured 1870 and shipped Feb. 1871. Ivory, nickel and engraving were done by Robinson.
Two additional numbers added to butt by Robinson indicating order number or engravers code or style, per Smith. 8 inch barrel , beautiful rifling,
lanyard missing from the butt. This is the nicest , conditioned gun that I have seen on either or this site. This is a deal for this excellent S&W. Plus there is no sale tax or fees. Can't beat that ! 100 rds of ammo I do not believe there is another model 3 with engraving & Ivory in this condition for this price anywere
