Listed is an Elmer Keith inspected Remington 1903 Bolt Action rifle in 30-06Cal
This rifle is in excellent condition and would make a welcome addition to any military collector out there.
Barrel is dated 5-42
All parts and cartouches are correct
This rifle was inspected by Elmer Keith. Stock has his correct boxed cartouche O.G.E.K. During World War II, Keith served as an inspector at the Ogden, Utah, Arsenal. The rifles that he inspected were cartouche stamped with the initials "OGEK" in a rectangular box, on the buttstock. Elmer was the grandfater of big bore Cartridges. Like the .357, .44, .41 Magnums
