Bruce & Davis double barrel percussion pistol built circa 1850's, 4 1/4 " barrel,at .32 cal. twin hammers, single trigger pistol as per Flayderman's at page 335 . This pistol was probably built by Allen & Thurber with Bruce & Davis being the Agents. Mechanically sound and as usual the right hammer sticks and the trigger has to be pushed forward, overall brown/grey petina, sound nipples some light pitting, original grips. An antique percussion pistol not subject to license. Both hammers cocked the right side fires first and then the left secondly. Sound American aged walnut gripses with a hardwood ram-rod with a brass tip.
