Description:
The left side of the slide is marked "COLT'S MK IV / SERIES '70 / GOVERNMENT MODEL / 45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER" followed by the Rampant Colt emblem. The right side of the slide is marked "COLTS GOVERNMENT MODEL". The left side of the frame is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. / 70B08464". The top right of the trigger guard is marked with a "T". The left side of the trigger guard is marked with an "Q". The exposed portion of the barrel is marked "COLT .45 AUTO / MK.IV/SERIES '70". The grips are checkered wood with Colt medallions. Included is the Factory Colt box with paperwork and a second colt 8 round magazine. This Colt 1911 is still in great condition, showing a little handling wear on the surface, but doesn't appear to used very much. .45 Auto

Metal Condition: 95% remaining with light scuffs and scratches in the polished surface. Scratching and a few dings by the take-down lever. The satin surface has light scratches in the trigger guard on the top.
Wood Condition: 99%.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with strong rifling.
Triggers: Single action trigger.
Sights: Fixed front with a drift adjustable rear.
