Winchester Model 70. SN# 182572. Built in 1951. Up for sale is a very solid Winchester Model 70 chambered for the classic and powerful .375 H&H hunting cartridge. This fine Winchester carries the 25" barrel with interchangable flip up rear sights and blade front sight. The stock is very solid with some slight wear spots to show off the miles of hunting this fine rifle has been involved with. This rifle has been to Africa twice, Canada several times and many of the western states of the USA. The bore remains clean and the barrel rifling is in excellent condition. The barrel has a David Gentry "Quiet Brake" installed which makes this cartridge very comfortable to fire. This rifle would make an excellent choice for any hunter looking for the power of a .375.
